Our most popular program!
Our bootcamp course can be taken in-person or online.

Some students may be ready for a PMP certification immediately after the class, but all will definitely have a blueprint of what they know and need to study to be successful when they take the exam. Course materials were written by Bill and his track record and passion for teaching is evident in every class.

  • Classes can be conducted in both a 4 or 5 day format
  • Total contact hours are 35 hours including in-class testing
  • Last day of class full 200-question practice test

Our most popular program offered digitally! This is a structured study plan which includes the following:

  • Reading the PMBOK
  • Studying from one of many PMP exam preparation books
  • Taking several practice exams, you can pass the PMP without a boot camp class.

(One of the reasons so many people use the boot camp option is to get the 35 required contact hours. If you already have the 35 hours based on courses you have taken or other training in the project management area, you don’t need to sit through a boot camp class. Consider taking a pure online course where you follow a plan but the reading and study is all on your own.)

BLT developed the content for our essentials course and has taught over 40 PM Essentials classes. The biggest challenge was determining what was essential for new or part-time project managers. BLT determined that gathering requirements, creating a good scope statement and the WBS (work breakdown structure) were certainly basic to all project managers. Covering risk management early in the process was added to bring more focus to the art of risk management. Other essential topics included building a schedule and understanding the critical path.  Estimating techniques and controlling costs are also covered. Limited information on quality, communications, change control and managing the project team are covered as well.

The PM Essentials Course is intended groups or corporate training sessions.
